Early detection is the most powerful tool in veterinary medicine. At LeelaVet Hospital, our Clinical Diagnostics Department is equipped with a full suite of imaging and laboratory services to uncover the root cause of medical conditions—quickly, accurately, and safely.

Combining advanced imaging with in-house blood, urine, and tissue testing allows us to detect infections, metabolic diseases, organ dysfunctions, neurological disorders, and cancers at their earliest stage. Our facility is one of the few in the region to integrate multiple modalities—X-ray, CT, USG, ECG, ECHO, MRI, and a clinical pathology lab—under one roof or in coordination with nearby diagnostic centers.

Comprehensive Diagnostic Capabilities

Digital X-ray & Fluoroscopy

Used for skeletal injuries, chest and abdominal evaluations, and identifying foreign bodies. Fluoroscopy provides real-time imaging for dynamic processes like swallowing or heart valve motion.

Ultrasound (USG)

Soft-tissue imaging of organs such as the liver, kidneys, bladder, spleen, pancreas, and reproductive system. Used for guided biopsies and fluid analysis.

Computed Tomography (CT Scan)

Available at our partner facility, CT produces detailed 3D images of bones, joints, brain, thorax, and abdomen. Ideal for trauma, cancer staging, and pre-surgical mapping.

Electrocardiogram (ECG)

Analyzes the heart’s electrical activity to detect arrhythmias, conduction issues, or changes due to disease or medication.

Echocardiogram (ECHO)

Ultrasound of the heart, essential for diagnosing congestive heart failure, valve abnormalities, and congenital heart defects.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

MRI, arranged at referral centers, is used primarily for neurological disorders—spinal cord injuries, brain tumors, seizures, or disc disease.

Clinical Laboratory Services

Our in-house lab can process most results within minutes, including:

  • CBC (Complete Blood Count)

  • Biochemical panels (liver, kidney, glucose, electrolytes)

  • Thyroid testing

  • Urinalysis

  • Cytology and histopathology

  • Coagulation profiles

  • SNAP tests (e.g., parvovirus, Ehrlichia, pancreatitis)
